Great day! Luke and I had a great time traveling to Wisconsin to a pottery show with our friend Chablis. Her and I both got nice pieces that we will cherish forever.

The St. Croix River is beautiful this time of year. We had lunch watching the boats go by. Well I don't think Luke was too concerned with that, he was more interested in this new taste, the french fry. He loved it of course.

I am now going to get my fantasy football team together.

Update

Granny has been with us for the past 3 weeks. It has been nice to have support and companionship while Jeremy is working so many days in a row. I have been working so hard to get my garden ready for my vegetable plants that I started last month. We have plans for tomatoes, okra, carrots, cucumbers, beans, and carrots.

I have joined an 18 hole golf league close to my house. I hope that i meet some new people and have a great time getting active without Luke.

We have been enjoying the pleasant weather. Luke is crawling all over everything. He doesnt want to sit and rock anymore. All he wants to do is climb and wiggle his body to whatever he can reach. We have been planting plants all week. I cant believe how much work is involved. Frank likes my garden. He loves eating just about everything I put into the ground. We have also been enjoying my Burley trailer. Luke knows that he is a king in his little chariot.

We are home again here in Minnesota. The drive home from Indiana was long but smooth. At least I had someone to talk to. Jeremy has been working very hard the past 3 weeks. He is going to get 2 days off this weekend to refresh and I am sure go golfing.

Granny is here and helping with Luke. While she watched him, I decided to go outside today and plant a garden. It is going to be more work than that I thought. But I am sure that is will be worth it.

Tomorrow Jeremy and I are painting the basement. We have a painting gun. I have never used one but I hope that it does not take that long.

Zoo day

Grandma Lisa, Luke and I braved the rain today to visit the Como Zoo in St. Paul. We had a great time. They have giraffes, gorillas, lions, monkeys, and wolves of course. The flower conservatory was in full bloom with yellows and reds. I cant wait to see Luke running around pointing and commenting all excited.

I personally liked the giraffes. They remind me of how small humans are.

I am now looking forward to driving to Indiana and visiting my old stomping ground.

On Friday we went to the park for some clean up and fun. My moms group met and we visited and watched the kids play. It was a lot of fun. Luke and I both got some rays.

Today is dad's birthday. 32 is a big number. We have plans to pamper him!
